Modern life is dynamic, challenging and, at times, a bit stressful! Often we end up pushing our own needs way down the long to-do list.

Many women struggle to strike a balance between achieving at work, raising healthy, happy children, being a loving partner, a great friend and helping keep a household running.

Whether you’re a mum, in a relationship, on a steep career trajectory…we figure that all women could do with some more ‘time-out’ tips. We got some good ideas from a recent Body and Soul article, and had a few of our own to add. (You’ll probably have some faves too; we’d love you to share them - drop us a comment on Facebook.)

So, make a date with yourself and enjoy a bit of ‘me time’.

Top 10 time-out tips


  • Rug up and go for a walk.
